I was asked to participate in some of the Think Tank presentations today at TFA. This has become one of my favorite opportunities as an administrator to see the culminating work done by these 9th graders. For the past two months they have been working collaboratively, researching, drafting prototypes to solve a problem they have identified and creating a digital presentation. These students presented to a panel of local community members, school board members, staff totaling 15 adults to present to! They did an amazing job. Their topics, solutions and learning were impressive, creative, and very realistic. These projects ranged from helping with homelessness in the Philippines, regrowing the coral reefs off of Ecuador, reducing plastic pollution in Brazil, and reducing overfishing off the coast of Nigeria. I was not personally able to participate in the first session, but in closing circle heard some great feedback from those four presentations as well. Job well done by the students and the staff down at TFA!

As we enter the spring season, MSAD44 and Ridesource continue to work to keep our kids safe when riding the school bus which takes a group effort. Here are some helpful tips you can review with your student at home. The bus drivers will also be going over these reminders with their riders. Thank you!

There will be a 2 hr delay this morning, Tuesday, January 27, 2026 for all MSAD#44 schools to allow for road crews the time to clear and treat the roads.
