Telstar High School

This past week, the Telstar Freshman Academy (TFA) kicked off its first overnight of the year at the University of Maine 4H Camp & Learning Center at Blueberry Cove in Tenants Harbor, Maine.  During the trip, our 9th grade students explored coastal ecology, conducted hands-on research on invasive green crabs and built stronger connections with their classmates.  At TFA, experiential, place-based learning is at the heart of what we do. Trips like these give students the chance to connect, explore, and discover learning in action.
