TRFM Scholar is community scholarship focused on enabling local youth to achieve their educational and career-oriented aspirations.
River Fund Maine Scholar
Each year, one local student is named a River Fund Maine Scholar. The recipient receives a scholarship in the amount of $20,000 to support the attainment of a BA/BS or equivalent four-year college degree in the student’s chosen area. This scholarship is renewable annually for a total of 4 years based on GPA and general good standing. The River Fund Maine especially encourages recipients to envision and prepare themselves for careers in entrepreneurial and leadership roles in our region. The objective is to assist talented students in developing an education plan that leads to a fulfilling and rewarding career, not just a job. Applicants must reside in the MSAD 44 or RSU 10 districts.
