The Student Council is comprised of students that truly care about the spirit and integrity of our school.  This includes Class officers from each grade level.

We are the eyes and ears of what is going on and we use that knowledge to promote and encourage Telstar pride.  We plan Homecoming and Winter Carnival and when we have the time, we strive to raise awareness about important topics. 

Mission Statement

The Telstar High School Student Council’s mission is to promote a positive school environment, foster student involvement, develop responsible leaders within our school community and promote the values that represent good character in all students: Trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. 

We will accomplish our mission by doing the following:

• Leading by example in our classrooms and community by being respectful, responsible, kind, and compassionate.  

• Develop, promote, coordinate and manage school activities that engage Telstar Students and promote school spirit. 

• Serving as a source of communication between the students and faculty of the school.
