FBLA
Future Business Leaders of America strives to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. All high school students are eligible for membership. Members have opportunities to attend leadership conferences and participate in civic service.

NHS
Telstar students in grades 10-12 are eligible for National Honor Society membership. National Honor Society recognizes students with exceptional leadership, character, scholarship and service. New members are inducted in the spring. Telstar's NHS chapter hosts an annual Thanksgiving dinner for area senior citizens, organizes a local blood drive and does other charitable work.

Student Council
The Student Council is the representative body of students at Telstar and gives students the opportunity to undertake leadership roles within the school community. Members are elected in the spring. The Council hosts Homecoming and Winter Carnival, organizes class officers' elections and raises money for scholarships.

Yearbook
Yearbook committee membership is open to all high school students. Students take pictures and plan page layouts to reflect the year's events, sell advertising to local businesses and run book sales and distribution to students.

Other Activities
Telstar students can also serve as class officers, participate in the Spring Musical and serve on the Freshman Awareness Committee or Youth Empowering Students at Telstar.
